General Chemistry Placement Advising (Summer 2009)

The Chemistry Learning Center provides free tutoring in general chemistry every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 7 PM to 10 PM. The CLC is located in 156 Chemistry Research Labs. No appointment is needed.

Mark Schraf, Jennifer Robertson-Honecker, Tabitha Chigwada, Mingming Xu, and Betsy Ratcliff (Teaching Assistant Professors and Instructors within the C. Eugene Bennett Dept. of Chemistry) recently attended the Biennial Conference on Chemical Education at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. Toni Zito (undergraduate science education major at WVU) attended the conference as well. (picture)

Organic Chemistry is the chemistry of carbon compounds. Biochemistry is the study of
